AFN FRANKFURT

This AFN Frankfurt website is designed primarily for those who served from 1955-1959

WELCOME. Pardon the advertising. It's the only way to get a free website. You can make the ad on the side disappear. Click on the "x" at the top right of the ad.

A 50th reunion is planned for May 27, 2006, in Philadelphia. We are searching for those who were in Frankfurt during the years mentioned.

In particular we are looking for Jim Weldon, Jim Daly, Bob Bilski (spelling?) and Jim Cairns.

Among those attending who were at AFN, Frankfurt, Germany from 1955 - 1959, will be: Sgt. Sam Sumner, Jack Eisner (Jack Ellery), Jim Preston, Ralph Fick, Charles McCluskey, Bob Kimmel, Ivan Shanor (Gene Shay), Ursula Ryan, Shelby Whitfield, Jim Schultze (Jim Kincaid), Silvio Capponi, Roger Monroe, John Morris, Sam Kaplan, Ed Hanna and Ev Felder. John Grimaldi, our adopted amigo, who was at AFN in the 60's will also attend. Hopefully, Dick Nirenberg and Milt Strasser, both living in the west, will be able to join the group.

There are others with whom we have had little or no contact during the years, but we would love to have them join us. Jules Diamond lives in California. Hopefully he can make the shlep. Ditto for Mal Sondock in Germany. Phil Raiguel is in Washington. Phil has no phone, no TV and no PC. It's rough to reach him.

Just send us an E Mail

Or you can write to Jack Eisner, at WCTC Radio, P.O. Box 100, New Brunswick, NJ 08903. Jack served as an announcer at AFN, Frankfurt from 1956-1958
